The PCL82 is a triode pentode with a B9A base.
Very useful valve. It's identical to an ECL82, exception of the heater voltage and current.
The PCL82 has a heater voltage of 16V and draws 300mA, whereas the ECL82 heater voltage in 6.3V at 780mA.
(They have the same pinouts).
If you have 16V AC across pins 4&5 of the valve base - the heater - that would confirm that it's the correct valve.
(Do you know the model number of the player?)
