Any recommendations?
There are several out there based on my design, but the "Tayloredge" (http://www.tayloredge.com/ - select "HVPS") ones are pretty neat , e.g. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nixie-power-su...0831452311
MAX1771 variants, such as the one sold by Konstantin at http://www.kosbo.com are also good.
Another word of warning - boost SMPSs like these switch at anywhere from about 60kHz upwards - they need to be screened to stop them making radios go bonkers... I can give pointers about that if people want....

Farnell's are slightly more sane.
I would never buy something like this from Farnell - there is simply no need... Konstantin is in the UK and the others on eBay etc. are about 15 quid shipped...
