The second Radialva set finally arrived today. I'm pleased to say the dial survived and is in very good condition. I will now be able to make a number of high res scans to keep on hand for when I find a working process to reproduce - or find someone who can do it for me 
Alas the rest of the set is in a sorry state. Probably with the best of intentions, the set has been modified to have a large (and heavy) mains transformer thus replacing all the old power supply including the rectifier valve. The socket and all associated wiring is gone! To make room for the TFO the speaker and bracket are also gone but I can find no flying leads that would connect to an external speaker. Oh well, getting this one back to life may be quite a struggle - but all good fun once i get round to it!
