Looks in very nice shape internally Joe.
All Hackers that are covered with that material seem to suffer from sagging vinyl phenomenon - presumably the foam padding degrades over time. It seems an odd way to cover the cabinet of a set, but presumably looked ok when new and taut, though not so good with the ravages of time. (Same could be said for me!) Hacker, rather like Roberts, have an interesting history, and seem to attract their followers, who may otherwise not be attracted to transistor sets.
