Lash up Direct Conversion Receiver

Just as an addition, I suppose I could test the theory of the 1 mhz xtal harmonic generator out by knocking up a class C job and feeding the sig. gen. in and see what I can tune out of the anode tank, trouble is no 'scope so might be guess work and hunch. If it fails I will post results anyway, unless someone who has a 'scope wants to lash one up to compare notes...no transistor(s) just valve(s)
