Hello Al,
The omission of the bleeder resistors will not place your AR88D in peril. However, their omission will place you at risk of electrocution; even with an unpowered chassis.
Remember:
- Remove power from the chassis.
- Remove wristwatch and wedding ring.
- Place your left hand into your trouser/pant pocket.
- Stand on an insulated floor mat.
- Properly discharge all power supply electrolytic capacitors.
We did not become old technicians by accident.
