Good luck with the cabinet Joe; you could always pop it into Sheffield A&E and say it has been shot with a 12 bore and leave them to sort it out!!
To be on the safe side I gave my restored Ekco TV cabinet a good dose of wood worm treatment; I hate the little blighter's.
