Col, that is literally astounding!
I'm able to do simple things with wood, and am lucky enough to have a reasonable collection of tools, but when it comes to finishing, I've not managed to progress beyond Danish oil. And I've never tried veneer work yet. Part of the problem is that I haven't found decent suppliers yet (that sounds like an excellent excuse!)
I managed to miss this thread originally, so I'll read it properly this evening. Thanks for the update, and more pictures please
