As Chris says, the Broadcast Engineering Museum** will be there. The satellite truck is going for its plating test this week and it had better pass. We plan to bring one of our Ikegami broadcast cameras and should be able to send video in both directions between the truck and our stand using an optical fibre link.
We will also have the most amazing selection of junk (aka fine antique items) for sale. Pick up a Hartley 13A 'scope (as mentioned in another thread) and get a free hernia with it. Other goodies will include a HP 8057A Precision Noise Generator, a Baird 8902 VHS top loader, piano key, recorder (I think this is their version of the Ferguson 3V00), a Mullard High Speed Valve Tester and an Advance OS250TV Oscilloscope. This last is working, I took the photo on my bench this morning. Most other items will be sold as seen. All proceeds will be treated as donations to the BEM/BECG.
**The Broadcast Engineering Conservation Group is the charity that wholly owns the Broadcast Engineering Museum. We're trying to change all our public facing activities to BEM, leaving BECG for where it's formally needed.
