I wish we could be complimentary about the Sony professional monitors (CRT based, we don't have many professional flat panel ones yet of any make) we have at the Broadcast Engineering Museum. Maybe that's as they get older but reliability isn't their strong suit. We like JVC monitors - they usually just work, even if they've been stored badly.

Being a Belgian company, it's not surprising that Barco were good at multistandard sets. They made some good professional monitors too, though they are getting quite old.
