The Thorn / Ferguson TX9 was live chassis (mad thyristor based PSU?) and mid 1970s, but the TX10 was isolated, thus could have video / audio. Late 1970s.
My guess is that pressure to implement SCART / AV and the end of valves other than the CRT meant it died a natural death.
Live chassis radios ended earlier. Sometime in late 1960s. Live chassis record players a similar time scale.
I expect they ended in UK by 1980s and earlier in France.
