I have a rare device from the 1980s, i.e. a transformer winding tester. This is the DW85-05 model. Probably only a few pieces were produced. I bought this device as "scrap" from an electronics company where no one could run the device due to lack of documentation. I haven't found any news on the Internet. After several months of reflection, I wrote to the manufacturer in Germany. The company's director asked me where I got this model from? After 2-3 months of silence, I received an e-mail with a scan of the user documentation. Someone was kind enough to look into the old archives from 40 years ago and take a scan. The device is functional. I only replaced the electrolytes in the power supply. They generate pulses with an adjustable voltage of up to 5KV. On the screen you can follow the waveform induced in the transformer winding. You need to upload a reference waveform to its memory and compare both. This device was probably used in a large power plant. Sometimes "chasing the bunny" gives more pleasure than catching it.
Adam.
Adam.
