I had a portable 1/2" EIAJ reel mono VTR and camera in early 1980s. Gave it away in 1989 as I was going abroad for an extended time. I thought I'd transferred some of it to VHS, but those tapes must have been given away or lost when we moved. No VHS or tapes again till about 1993. Then I had analogue 8mm video (S/H repaired camera, the ribbons on lens all broken) in latter half of 1990s and I'm meaning to use the Digital 8 & Firewire to digitise. The Analogue 8mm camera seems dead, but maybe it's the external PSU.
