Thursday 8th June – 7.45 for 8pm Talk: Wireless Industry in the 1930s

Organised by the Wandsworth Society Dr Tom Going (whose Festival event last year discussed the Columbia Graphophone factory, Earlsfield) will tell the story, drawing on archive photos, of working life in a ‘wireless’ (radio) factory - there were many such in the 1930s, including several in the borough. • West Side Church, Wandsworth, SW18 2QQ • FREE • Refreshments available • No booking required
