Some of you will know that went to Imperial College in the 1970s. Despite spending too much time with STOIC (Student Television Of imperial College) I did get a degree.
I'm working with a couple of people to recover part of the tape archive. The tricky stuff is that which was recorded on Ampex 7003. This is a 1" format which was later developed into the C format broadcast VTRs. A few bits are around in more modern formats such as Umatic and hence more accessible. This one makes a reference to the Television Advisory Committee. The haristyles are also rather good. Made in 1970, some 5 years before I arrived there.

This interview was done in 1975, just before I arrived at IC. Like a number of interviews, it was done at the ILEA's studios in Battersea. Image Orthicon cameras, Quadruplex VTRs though we usually recorded on to IVC 1" machines.
