As some members may know the Grenadier has a SRBP(or similar)panel at the rear, which incorporates a 3-terminal 'Pressac' mains connector. To the right of the connector are two I.5" 750mA glass fuses, one in the live and one in the neutral
lines. The metal caps of these fuses are (at least on the example I have here) touchable from outside the player, which, since they have 240vac on them, is, to put it mildly, not a good idea, and would almost certainly be illegal nowadays!
Since I cannot get a 'Pressac' line plug, I plan to replace the connector board with one incorporating an IEC 3-pole mains inlet, and fit modern fuseholders which are totaly insulated from the outside, so the above is mentioned purely out of interest, but could there be covers missing from the original fuseholders?
