Can you replace a TIP41a for a TIP41c

I've almost completed the low voltage replacement circuit for the old Sussex Valve tester. I've noticed that the broken circuit has a TIP41a and I have some TIP41c's - just a double check if its ok to use? 
I tried removing the old TIP41a but alas the emitter connection snapped off with no force against it in removal (doh!!) so I can't use it.

TIP41A is 60V absolute max, TIP41C is 100V absolute max.

Other than that the data sheets look identical.

The title asks if you can substitute a 41A for a 41C - answer yes with caution (if the supply is below 60V and there are no inductors or charge pumps - the original designer may have overspecified the transistor simply because he had a lot of 41C's in stock).

The reverse - can you substitute a 41C for a 41A - yes, always.

It just indicates a TIP41 in the parts list but a 41a had been installed. I'll fit the one I have.
