Hi DJRM, I restored a Sobell T143 last year. The set was bought from an eBay seller simply to donate it's MW36-24 CRT into a bakelite cabinet Bush TV32.

Information for the Sobell T143 can be found in the 1953/54 Radio and Television servicing book.
The original Mullard MW36-24 CRT was replaced with an electrostatic focus Mullard AW36-20.
The Sobell T143 always had only just sufficient picture height to over scan the CRT. My set was modified to improve matters by using the frame timebase circuits of the 1955 Sobell T145.
