If you are embarking on the restoration of htis wonderful radio Rob, you could do no better than to follow forum meber John 'Geaney's step by step restoration on youtube. An excellent series which has moved from the chassis restoration to the final stages of the cabinet retoration of a much neglected example, which has fallen into the right hands.
Even for those not contemplating such a restoration, it makes very enjoyable viewing. If you haven't already see it, you'll find part 1 of the youtube series of short videos here, from whence you'll see the link to the other parts:
