Being of a certain age ,I can remember listening to Radio Luxembourg with my mother . We used to write down the addresses of various advertisers in order to get free samples of toothpast, chocolates biscuits etc.
Quite fun at the time.
I used to record some of the pop music but as the signal often faded the results were not good.
