Time will tell with ours. After maybe 3 or 4 charge cycles it seems to be behaving itself now. Fingers crossed.
The original encounter with g tech was my mother in law buying a lightweight one., probably 15 - 20 years ago.
Just the habdle broke, but spares were available.
Unfortunately, China does export a lot of crap. Together with their own deceptive CE mark - China Export I think.
Be interesting when the plug in solar panels start getting fake spares for diy "experts".
Evidently fake parts are the main cause of many e-scooter and e-bike fires in houses. 4 fatal so far.
