Today Ruth and I were in central London. We visited a set of art exhibits at 180 The Strand. http://www.thestores.com/180thestrand/ Amongst them was this display of CRT TVs. About 100 of them, all displaying either snow or blue screen in the absence of signal. As with much modern art I'm really not sure about what they were trying to achieve. Except perhaps to make a room very warm indeed.
I'm slightly reminded of Endpiece, in which 1001 TV were displayed working to commemorate the end of analogue TV broadcasting. I wrote a short article about in the BVWS Bulletin. There's a video here and much more online about it. It was all about scale: 1001 sets made for a very impressive display:

Overall, Endpiece was good. This piece was mediocre at best.
