Wharfedale combi tv

We have a Small L15T11wc that has a fault on the sound it is intermitant and goes off.I thought that it was the speaker but have been told that the ear phone scocket is part of the circuit.and if damage will cut of the speaker.My tv repairer friend can not find a replacement socket and has tryed Maplins .So does anyone have one or know the part number or where i might get one from.

Do you use the earphone socket? If not simply short it out.
If you really do want to replace it a picture would help.

If you don't use the headphone socket, why not bridge it permanently?

Hello.
We did use it to start with for and extension speaker for my 92y old mum and i think it was that that caused the problem .She now has a wire free infra red hearing loop system supplied by the Hearing services so we wont be useing the tv socket again .
But would like to mend the tv even if its was a cheap one.

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for this tv.or know where i can download a free copy from.

Sorry to say that even if you could get a circuit/manual it will not be a lot of use it will be full of black box modules and a flow chart of faults and which panels to change. this is the case with nearly all flat panel sets not just Wharfdale.

I havent had the tv back yet as the guys got man flu so i told him to stay away
I have noticed there is a circuit panel avalable on ebay.
