My mother has a some older Philips equipment which she would like to get out of the house. I understand the commercial value is low for these items, however want to find an option where the collection can be used by someone else, I’d hate to just dispose in the skip.
The items belonged to my father who passed away about 10 years ago. He collected these items during his 40 years working for Philips. My Mum lives in Portsmouth and I am in the US and am trying to help her work out what to do with the equipment.
We have the following, all Philips unless noted otherwise:
o RH 832 Quad amplifer and turntable, with four speakers In original boxes
o Reel to Reel tape decks – AG4500, ag106, ag109, AG 4308, AG106, ag107
o Radio – V5a
o Pye turnstyle (in a wooden box with valves)
o VCR - Video 2000
o VCR 1700
There are more items, but these are the ones I have been able to identify. Here are some photos of some of the equipment:

Please contact if if you have an interest, or a suggestion for who might be interested in taking the equipment. You would need to arrange to pick up the equipment, as my mother does not drive. My next step is to look into electronic recycling, but I had to do that if someone else is interested!
Thanks
