My Uncle brought this gem round, well the Ultra 8047 exactly, but it's the same apart from the colour.
The turntable is stuck solid! I mean really stuck. After removing the spindle and C-Clip, it won't move in any direction. I haven't powered it yet because I can actually pick up the whole unit with the turntable! I don't want to burn out the motor.
I've tried a Hair Dryer. I've tried 3 in 1 oil. I've even tried a poke underneath.
It's a common 70's BSR deck.
Any ideas. I've never had this before!
