Radar/Compass unit

I have an Indicating Unit (CRT) Type 13232A, 10Q/16789.
Does anyone know anything about it? It appears to be aircraft but it has 2 hydrophone modules suggesting ship equipment.
It was bought in the late 70's from A.H. Supplies in Sheffield with intention to convert into an oscilloscope.
Have not yet opened it up. Sorry unable to insert images yet

I also have one of those, but no documentation. It is aircraft equipment, part of a sonabuoy system, probably used on Shackleton and early Nimrod aircraft.
I suspect not a good candidate for conversion to an oscilloscope.
