This is interesting to watch,
The final lecture by Geoffrey Gouriet from 1972.
"Vision of the future"..Only 2 of his 6 lectures are listed.The lecture series was called
"Ripples in the Ether",I remember watching them at the time.
He sadly died in 1973 at the very early age of 57.

Gouriet's name is associated with a particular design of crystal oscillator, also known as the Clapp oscillator.

I spent 1974/5 at BBC Research labs and then went to Imperial College in 1975. I missed meeting Gouriet on 2 counts as he was also a professor of elec eng at Imperial before he died.
