slimline Masteradio

hi guys, ive just rescued a 'slimline'radio from a skip .
its called a masteradio with long and medium, no shortwave
a very simply made wooden case with worm infestation present, and a cardboard type backboard that extends up as a top as as well.model no is d155.
the makers name printed on back is masteradio ltd,fitzroy place n.w.1.ac/dc receiver100/250v made in england.theres a chart inside showing how the dropper can be set up for different voltages, im toying with the idea of confining the cabinet to the deep freeze for a week or two, in the hope of killing off the worm, has anyone ever heard of this maker or know the set, id be v greatful for any feedback , best regards ,maitiu.

Masteradio was founded by Harold Burns and George Benning in 1938 and was sold to GEC in 1958. Maitiu if you send me your email by PM i will scan the D155 info i have and send it to you.

Hello Maitiu, i have a sneaking suspition that i have one of these sets here under my pile, or neatly displayed sets, could you post a picture of yours please, try a printer refill syringe, the blunt sort you get supplied with printer cartridge refill kits, to apply woodworm killer, thats if its active, down each hole, if its ridden a paint brush, you can get woodworm killer in most hardware outlets.
