A few photos of this set, note the on/off switch adaptation.
Some of the rubber wiring is suspect, the usual colours, red and yellow are the worst. I presume it was the dye used that caused this degradation.
Cathode decoupler of the audio triode/detector has been restuffed, its amazing how the size of a 50uf capacitor has reduced in the last 73 years!, I could have got at least 6 new ones in the original tube.
