I have been fiddling with a 1927 KB Brandeset, 3 triode valves and other bits in a wood box. I suppose these old battery sets were good in their day, but I get frustrated with all the wires going to all the different supplies. HT1, 2, 3, LT, gb1, gb2, etc. They had resistors in those days why did they not use them to make use of just HT and LT.
Give me a mains set any day.
