What on earth was this used for?
I found two of them for sale as a pair for about what the knobs are worth even with one knob missing.
They are 9V and one has a PP9 snap missing.
They look like some sort of leak detector but there were no probes but the moving coil meters look good.
The control legends that are in a shadow are just marked coarse and fine.
The probe connector looks like an old style mains input and is marked search head.
The boards look quite different with the other one having plastic packaged transistors and a smaller inverter transformer even though they are both marked MK VI.
