Ah-Ha! I know the stuff you're referring to Joe - that's 'Trefolex' cutting compound!
I have a large red-coloured tin of that in the 'shop: I acquired in years & years ago. And very useful stuff it is too.

But I failed to appreciate the God-awful stink it created! Err, I was soon "told" - and in no uncertain terms, either! Oh, and yes, the frying pan was replaced soon after, too! Subsequently, on Sunday mornings, I then strictly avoided politely enquiring "Anyone fancy a fry-up?"
